Laptops now given away for free

I recently bought the LG Viewty on O2 and got a free gift with my new mobile phone contract, The Hewlett Packard 6720 notebook. The HP laptop is great because it’s packed with all the latest software already such as Windows Vista business edition.

I’m really happy with my laptop because I can watch my DVDs on it wherever I am as it as a 15.4″ TFT Active Matrix LCD Display, and the battery doesn’t just die halfway through a movie! The battery life is 4.5 hours which is great for a laptop.

I usually store a lot of music, photos and movies on my removable hard drive but now I’ve finally got enough space to keep them on my 80GB hard drive.

Because I like listening to music on the go, I can now download my music tracks from my new HP laptop to my new Viewty. It’s great for when I’m at the gym or on the bus as it has an Mp3 player. The Viewty also has a TV output option so I can plug it into my TV and watch the movies I have recorded on the phones in built camera.

Usually I upload my photos straight from my mobile to my laptop, It’s great because it has a 5.0 Megapixel camera with excellent quality photos I can transfer directly and create photo albums and edit any photos I don’t like! The contract deal I found was the best because initially I was looking for a laptop to keep up with my university coursework. but I also needed a good line rental phone so this was perfect for me!

The Grammar Girls is based on articles of speech. For the beginner they have nouns and verbs. In this game the computer will give you a sentence with two words in a bright color. One of the words is a noun and one is a verb. It will ask the child to click on the verb. If the child picks the right choice then they get a score added to the correct side.

With the Advanced game the child will have a choice of pronouns, nouns, verbs, conjunctions, adjectives and adverbs. Again the scoring is the same, but this game is so much harder that anyone under the age of 8 might not be equipped for playing it. But, what the heck, it will teach them so that they will be ahead of the game!

Then there is a game called Word Link. This is a giant scramble game where the child can connect letter to form words. After clicking on the letters that are adjacent to each other that spell a word, the letters then form the word in a box on the upper left side. If that is a verified word the child will then click submit and it will give him or her points. There is a timer that is always going so hurry up!!
